Project Overview

This project addressed a hoarding situation where excess belongings created overwhelm and limited the client’s ability to use their space comfortably. The primary goal was to restore safety, functionality, and emotional ease while honoring the client’s pace and boundaries.

Approach

I used trauma-informed, psychology-based organizing methods to reduce overwhelm and build trust throughout the process. Decluttering was done gradually, with clear structure and decision support, ensuring the client felt respected, in control, and supported at every step.

The Result

The space was transformed into a functional, navigable environment that supports daily living. With clutter reduced and systems in place, the client gained clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of calm within their home.
