Project Overview
This studio apartment living space had become difficult to use, with accumulated items blocking the window and obscuring much of the furniture beneath. When periods of mental or emotional depression interfere with daily routines, spaces like this can quietly stop supporting normal living — something many people experience and rarely talk about.
The intention of this project was to restore light, visibility, and a sense of livability within the studio, while respecting the reality of the client’s situation.
The Approach
The room was thoughtfully rearranged to complement the structure of the studio apartment, allowing the space to function more clearly and comfortably. By restoring natural light and redefining the layout, the living area was able to support everyday life again without feeling overwhelming.
The Result
Once the window was cleared and the room was restructured, the space felt noticeably brighter, calmer, and more manageable. The studio living area transitioned from a place of stress into one that supports rest, movement, and daily routines.
