Children’s Bedroom Reset
Project Overview
The parents reached out for help with their daughter’s bedroom, which had become overwhelming and difficult to use. Over time, clothing and toys had accumulated to the point where the room no longer supported rest, play, or creativity.
The goal of this project was to fully declutter the space while creating a bedroom that reflected the child’s habits, interests, and daily routines.
The Approach
With the parents’ request to declutter the room entirely, the process focused on editing both clothing and toys with intention. The child actively participated and chose to donate a large portion of her belongings, making space for what she truly enjoyed and used.
Because the parents gave full creative freedom, the room was designed around how the child naturally spends her time. Dedicated areas were created for floor reading and coloring near the window, as well as an organized space for her vanity, allowing the room to support both creativity and comfort.
The Result
The bedroom was transformed into a calm, functional, and playful space that supports the child’s everyday activities. With clear zones for rest, creativity, and personal expression, the room became easier to maintain and more enjoyable to use. The child was excited and proud of the final result, and the parents felt confident the space would grow with her.
